Providing clean water to communities

Access to clean uncontaminated water is a major hindrance to Uganda’s development plans, there is need to enable communities and families access unlimited supply of pure underground water and reduce the ever increasing mortality rates resulting from water borne diseases.

A child collects stones from a drainage channel in Katanga slum. Due to lack of protective gloves, this child is exposed to a number of diseases causing organisms, especially after the rains when all the rubbish is washed down to the channel.
